  • Unified geometry across manufacturers – one GDL object per product category and geometry type. Products from different manufacturers differ only in parameters, so they share the same 2D and 3D representation and can be exchanged in the model without remodeling.
  • Specification before product selection – starting with a generic specification and setting the geometry yourself, then linking the manufacturer's product once it is chosen.
  • Product data as Archicad properties – manufacturer specifications written to the element, in the user's language and for the country of the project.
  • 3D product configurator – configuring a product variant and transferring the computed dimensions to the project.
  • IFC export – bimproject.cloud properties exported as IFC property sets.

Petr is the founder and CEO of BIM Project, the company behind bimproject.cloud. He has been programming GDL objects for more than twenty years and works closely with building product manufacturers on how their product data reaches the Archicad model. He is a member of the Product Domain Steering Committee (PDSC) at buildingSMART International.

Jakub leads ZOAA, an architecture studio in Prague focused on hotels and large interiors. The studio's work includes the renovation of OREA Congress Hotel Brno, the new design of ibis hotels in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and Hotel Century Old Prague Town. He has worked in Archicad for over twenty years.

With 21 years of experience using Graphisoft solutions, Shaun specialises in Archicad template development, translating technical requirements into practical solutions, and helping AEC firms improve their design and collaboration workflows.
